[banner id=”19730″]

In part thirty of this series we looked at what the KeyCare Access plan offered. Now we look at the KeyCare Core and where it fits in right at the bottom.

The KeyCare Core plan

This plan is the least expensive and comprehensive of all the KeyCare options since it only allows you to:

  • Use of a KeyCare networked private hospital

Let’s look at the cost

There are three price points depending on your salary

R0 to R8, 100 a month:

  • Main member – R731 monthly
  • Adult dependants – R731 per adult
  • Children – R190 per child (A maximum of three children are charged for)

R8, 100 to R11, 550 a month:

  • Main member – R912 monthly
  • Adult dependants – R912 per adult
  • Children – R224 per child (A maximum of three children are charged for)

R11, 551+ a month:

  • Main member – R1, 408 monthly
  • Adult dependants – R1,408 per adult
  • Children – R318 per child (A maximum of three children are charged for)

At this price point it makes sense to start looking at some of the plans higher up on the platform.
